It's time toplay the music
It's time to light the lights
It's time to meet the Muppets on the Muppet Show tonight.

I always idolized Miss Piggy. She was glamorous, witty, and a no-nonsense kind of girl. She was a diva. But I think I self-identified most with Janice out of all the other Muppets, she was brown, she was all about peace and love, musically inclined, and a free spirit. Now, as an adult, I think she was probably just high all the time. Nonetheless, she still has a place in my heart as do all the Muppets.

Which is why I'm super stoked about The Muppets tonight on ABC/WSB TV ! The old gang's back again! Join me as I live tweet from the Center for Puppetry Arts tonight at 8:00 for the premiere. Follow me on Twitter @_Motherhustler!

Roux  /ro͞o/
noun
the base for most gumbo recipes where a rich, deep and hearty flavor and texture is desired.

As a traditional roux is the base for a good gumbo, mothers are the same foundation for the community.  A roux is nothing without the addition of seasonings and spices (ideas, creativity, support, etc).  This collaboration creates an ingenious gumbo to be consumed and shared.

It's almost here and I'm so pumped!  Katy from Sleek Soap Studio will be getting sudsy showing us how she makes her beautiful soaps.  Look how pretty!  Here's a little bit about Katy:

And while you're enjoying the sights of soap-making and the sounds of 'trep talk about Sustainability, I'm sure you'll be sipping on some sweet kombucha tea from Golda Kombucha, Atlantas's first kombucha tea company our sponsor for the night!  The recipe for Golda Kombucha tea comes from a vivacious 93 year-old named Golda. A living testament to wellness, Golda has been brewing and drinking her own kombucha for more than 20 years at her home in the Blue Ridge mountains.  Now her family recipe, unchanged through the generations, has been passed down again to her granddaughter:  the brewmaster behind Golda Kombucha.
I am Katy Clemmer, the creator and owner of Sleek Soap Studio.   I have been making soap and body products for twenty years.  I started out making products for gifts (imagine sourcing ingredients prior to the internet!!!).  I have always veered towards the creative side, but I am also a scientist as my career. I have worked researching how bacteria communicate to one another and how that communication pertains to virulence.  However, I have now taken a big step towards growing my soap business.  It is my true passion.  After battling cancer several years back, I knew I had to make the leap.  I am two 1/2 years in remission and soaping my heart out!  My soaps are not only eco-friendly but little pieces of art!
