First off, let me apologize for not posting for almost a month. I have been extremely busy and as a result have not highly prioritized this blog (nor my sanity). So today I am taking some time to share with you what's been going on and tell you a bit about the whirlwind that is my life lately. Most importantly, I'm enlisting you to be my accountability partner! I vow to contribute to the blog, at the very least, once a week. Give me crap if I don't. Please, I'm begging you!
Okay, so in my hiatus I participated in the Treme Creole Gumbo Festival, my first festival in my hometown of New Orleans! This event meant the absolute world to me and was even more magical than I imagined it would be. This festival served more of a purpose of a life experience than anything. To be able to do what I love to do in the city that I love the most was transcending. I met some of the most pleasant and amazing artists, including Heather and Mark whose were my booth neighbors for the weekend and are the owners of UP/Unique Products (http://www.shopgreenneworleans.com/) and Tammy Wilkins of Blue Moon Malas (https://www.facebook.com/bluemoonmalas) who I purchased a lovely mala from.
