I figured it would be an easy venture since I'd done a few parties but it wasn't really picking up steam. I even went as far as to intern, while working my 9-5, at a children's event boutique. I found myself spending tons of time working on tiny creative details and not enough time on actually planning the event and its logistics. It wasn't until I was hosting a "Back to School" party for the kids at my house and testing out an airbrush tattoo machine I'd just bought that someone asked if I ever thought about doing face painting.
In a couple months I'll be attending the FABAIC (Face and Body Art International Convention) for the first time. I'm super excited and I'll be sure to share the play-by-play with you guys. I'm so excited and eager to learn some new techniques, get the scoop on the latest trends, and jam all night with fellow face painters. It's going to be awesome!
It started as a simple inquest sparked from a conversation and turned into a full fledged obsession that I have fallen head over heels in love with. i would have never known had I not pursued and stuck with it. So if there's something lurking in the back of your mind, pull it to the forefront and try it out. You never know where you will find your happiness. Life is crazy like that! I love it!
