"...beginnings are scary, endings are usually sad, but it's the middle that counts the most. Try to remember that when you find yourself at a new beginning. Just give hope a chance to float up. And it will, too...”
- Birdee Pruitt, Hope Floats
The plan is to not submit to any unnecessary spending. Finances will be restricted to purchase of essentials and payment of bills. No use of my debit cards, except for gas purchases. I cringe as I think of it. No eating out. It’s all about consumption control, which at this point I have none of. No movies, no theater shows, no improve comedy on Friday nights, and no drinks with my girls. On a positive note, this will give me more time to focus on the things that are most important to me. The kid, my jobs, my health. We will only indulge in things that are FREE. Trips to the park, backyard barbecues, and movie night on the couch.
I’ll be chronicling this journey, starting next Monday (4.20.15) aka Doomsday, on my Instagram page. You can keep track of my journey. At the end of 21 day period, if I’m still alive, I will post the a recap of my experience. If you choose to take part, please share your progress!
